About Us
What hop-on-hop-off.paris is
An independent guide to the hop-on hop-off buses and boats of Paris: Big Bus, Tootbus, the Batobus, the night tours and the combos that go with them. We are not a bus company, we are not connected to any operator, and we do not sell tickets. We read the operators' timetables and the partner product pages, compare them, and write down what we find.
hop-on-hop-off.paris is published by Travel Ticket Box, a small media company running a network of independent attraction and city guides.
Why a whole site for sightseeing buses? Because the questions people ask are practical and the answers are scattered: which stop is quieter at 09:30, when the last full loop leaves in November, which company has commentary in Korean, whether the clock starts at purchase or at the first scan. We put those answers in one place.
How we check the facts
Primary sources first. Timetables, stops and inclusions come from the operators' own published pages and from the partner product pages. Where the two disagree, we show both.
Prices are "from" figures. Partner prices change by date and by option, so every price on this site is a starting price; the one at checkout is the one that applies.
Perishable facts are rechecked. A closed stop, a seasonal timetable, a holiday closure: we recheck them before every update.
We review periodically, and sooner when an operator changes its routes or timetable.
How hop-on-hop-off.paris makes money
Affiliate commission. When you book through a partner link on this site, the partner pays us a percentage.
It does not change your price, and partners have no say in what we write. Full detail on the affiliate disclosure page.
Who writes this Paris hop-on hop-off guide
Alesia writes the practical planning advice across the site: when to start a pass, which stop to board at, how to fit a bus loop around a timed attraction. The Pro Tips on every page are hers.
Victoria handles research and verification. She checks prices, timetables and stop lists against primary sources and tracks what changes between reviews.
